Buried Treasure

This is a great new kids' book written by a friend of mine, who's little guy James is on the spectrum. She gave it to me today and I cried when I read it. It's a good reminder of how very special these little guys with autism really are. They have to try so much harder than their typical peers & are so often misunderstood. If you need a book to help explain autism to your children, this is a good one to get. With the statistics being 1 in 150 kids being diagnosed with autism, you probably already know someone personally who has it. And if you don't, you will soon.
